Created using a LA ink Pad. 50% from all garment sales go direct to the charity. George House Trust provides services to people living with, and affected by, HIV and tackles HIV stigma and discrimination. Established in 1985 when people were facing the horrific experiences depicted in It’s A Sin, we help people live confidently with their HIV through peer mentoring, 1-1 support, welfare advice, counselling and much more. Whilst HIV is now an easily manageable condition when diagnosed early and HIV testing has never been easier, people still feel the effect of the shame and fear from the 1980s and 1990s. A key message for us is Undetectable = Untransmittable: if you’re living with HIV, and you’re on effective treatment this means the HIV in your body is undetectable and you can’t pass it on (U=U). We're delighted our patron Russell T Davies is telling the stories of people affected by HIV and AIDS in It’s A Sin, and grateful to Nathan Wyburn for supporting our work and tackling stigma by raising awareness of U=U.
